Banner Ford and Northshore Mustang Club Complete Scholarship Endowment

To celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the Ford Mustang, On Wednesday, April 17, 2024 (National Mustang Day) representatives from Banner Ford and the Northshore Mustang Club presented Northshore

Technical Community College Chancellor, Dr. Jim Carlson with a check for $7500.00, completing funding

of a $20,000 permanent scholarship endowment for deserving students in the college’s Automotive and

Diesel Technology Programs. Banner Ford and the Northshore Mustang Club have partnered with the

college to permanently endow this scholarship, helping our local communities by providing training and

education to assist local students in securing jobs in the automotive and diesel maintenance industry. The college will now seek matching funding from the Louisiana Board of Regents to match our private

donation and establish an endowment of $40,000. Banner Ford and the Northshore Mustang Club are

committed to increasing funding, as needed to assist future students with their education.
