Jacoby White is a full-time student in NTCC’s Automotive Technology Program. This father of 4 children is maintaining a 4.0 cumulative grade point average. He aspires to become a certified mechanic and secure employment at a dealership. Jacoby volunteers in activities such as distributing school supplies, neighborhood cleanups, and participation in breast cancer awareness events.  This scholarship will help Jacoby purchase tools and textbooks to advance in the program.

Jacoby is the proud recipient of a $5,000 scholarship ($2500 for each 0f the Fall 2026 and spring 2027 semesters).

Wyatt Day, a resident of Covington and a student at the Hammond Area Campus, is pursuing his passion for automotive technology. He is a firm believer in the power of a trade, viewing his time at NTCC as the foundation for a career that offers both technical expertise and financial independence.

While he hasn’t had the chance to volunteer in formal settings, he is a dedicated neighbor who frequently lends his skills to help friends and community members with repairs. The Northshore Mustang Club and Banner Ford Scholarship allows him to pursue his degree without the burden of student debt, helping him on his pathway to provide a stable life for his future family while gaining the "best job possible" in a dealership setting.

The Northshore Mustang Club and Banner Ford in Mandeville, LA partner each year to host an open car show at the Banner Ford dealership in Mandeville. Funds raised at the 2025 car show enabled us to present a check for $5,000.00 to Northshore Technical Community College (NTCC) on December 23, 2025, to fund 2026/2027 scholarships for two deserving students in the Automotive and Diesel Technology Programs at the college.

Northshore Mustang Club and Banner Ford are proud to support deserving local students, our communities, and  the Automotive and Diesel Technology Programs at NTCC through these scholarships . Past graduates of these programs have gone on to serve us well with the skills they gained at the college.

The club would like to express our sincere thanks to our partner, Banner Ford for their continued assistance with this show each year. They gladly allow us to use one of their prime dealership lots for the show and furnish food and facilities, along with help to serve our guests. We also extend sincere thanks to our many sponsors, our car-lover friends who showed up to show their cars at this and past shows, and the people who came out to view the cars and support us. Finally, what would our club be without our fantastic members, who willingly donate their time and efforts to make this show a success each year? We couldn't do this without all of you. YOU ROCK!
